  Waited in line 15 minutes to be seated. There were 2 parties in front of us. There were open seats the whole time..... Took forever to order. Took 40 minutes to get our food.... Yes, 40 minutes for run of the mill Mexican food. Food was a 5 out of 10. This place would close in months if its revenue was based on repeat customers. Bottom line - don't risk ruining a great day on the island by finishing here.

  We recently had dinner at Jose's Cantina. The food was very good and our waitress was very attentive. We left without taking our credit card with us from the restaurant. Upon returning home to Wisconsin, our credit card company had called leaving a message that someone from Jose's had called to report that we had forgotten it. We are so grateful to the employees at Jose's for being so honest and for reporting this. I would surely recommend anyone to frequent this Cantina.

  My boyfriend and I were first time visitors to St. Ignace, and this was the first place we spotted. We are so glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious! There was quite a long wait to be seated, but it was well worth it. I highly recommend the chicken fajitas.
